Linda’s television career spans nearly 20 years. Linda Barker was born on 26 October 1961 and grew up in Shelf, a small village near Halifax in West Riding of Yorkshire.
She went to Bradford Girls' Grammar School and later studied fine art at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, now the University for the Creative Arts.
She later did some odd jobs in fashion before becoming an interior designer.
