THE LATE MR. C. B. NEWENHAM.
Mr. Charles Burton Newenham, news of whose death at Bath at the very advanced age of between 93 and 94 has been received by his grandson, Mr. C. B. Hardy, was essentially one of the pioneers of South Australia, and as such some details of his career will no doubt be of interest to our readers. Mr. Newenham, who was born in Dublin on June 25, 1794, married a Miss Darley, and for some years after his marriage occupied a post under the Imperial Government in connectio
